KRISTIN  PATON  is classically trained and has been working in residential and commercial design for twenty years. In addition to her own design practice in London and Boston, Kristin has worked with such venerable designers and design firms as William Hodgins, Parish-Hadley Associates, McMillen Inc. and Pamela Banker. Kristin Paton has a B.S. in Interior Design and Illustration from the College of Visual and Performing Arts School at Syracuse University and studied architecture at the Piazza Savonarola in Florence, Italy. Kristin is a member of the Institute of  Classical Architecture and Art,  the Design Leadership Network, an ASID allied member, as well as a participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge (as part of team  "Spin and Tonics"). In 2024, she was granted a Bulfinch Award for her Nantucket Captains' House project, and was featured on Home worthy, touring the home detailing its preservation and renovation. 

After a decade in London, Kristin returned to Boston and founded Kristin Paton Interiors, a full-service interior design firm outside Harvard Square. In 2023, she moved the office to the heart of Downtown Boston. Kristin Paton Interiors has created a wide body of work ranging in many styles but always modern in sensibility. Kristin's interiors are above all sophisticated, clean-lined, elegant and highly bespoke to each client’s lifestyle.
